PT-35 Compact Track Loader

Terex

With a 4-ft wide profile, theTerex PT-35 is the smallest compact track loader in the Terex lineup and is ideal for work in tight situations where access is limited. Featuring a 3-cylinder, turbocharged Perkins 403F-15T diesel engine, the 36.2-hp PT-35 compact track loader is the newest member of the Terex line of Tier 4-compliant compact construction equipment.

Ideal for landscaping and small construction projects, the PT-35 compact track loader has 83.3 ft.-lb. of peak torque, a tipping load of 2,100 lbs. — with a 1,050-lb. operating capacity at 50% tipping load capacity — and a lift height of 101 in. Distributing the machine’s 3,970-lb. operating weight down to 3.3 PSI ground pressure, the PT-35 loader can work on soft or sensitive surfaces with minimal damage or impact, the company stated. The Terex PT-35 compact track loader is equipped with pilot-operated joystick controls and a comfortable operator station for easy operation.

The machine can travel up to 6.5 mph.

This model comes standard with 11-in. wide general purpose tracks outfitted on the patented Terex Posi-Track undercarriage technology and suspension. All Terex compact track loaders utilize a proprietary all-rubber track, rather than a rigid track technology with steel embedded tracks mounted on an existing skid steer chassis. This enables Terex compact track loaders to have a lighter weight, and its tracks do not corrode or rust, the company stated.

Terex also offers a special turf track for the PT-35 loader. Turf tracks are ideal for landscapers and others working over fragile surfaces. These tracks feature a special smooth tread in order to maneuver on virtually any surface with barely a trace.

The Terex PT-35 loader is designed with front-mounted, quick-connect hydraulic fittings and an electronic connector for control of attachments, enabling it to use industry-standard attachments.

PT-75 Compact Track Loader

Terex

The 71-hp Terex PT-75 compact track loader is the newest member of the Terex line of interim-Tier 4 compliant compact construction equipment. With a narrow machine width of 70 inches, the PT-75 track loader can easily maneuver and operate in confined or congested work sites.

Featuring a 4-cyclinder, turbocharged Perkins 804C-33T diesel engine, the PT-75 has 178.5 lbs. of peak torque, a tipping load of 6,200 lbs., and a lift height of 125 inches. It is available with an optional two-speed hydrostatic drive system that allows operators to select low for maximum torque or high for faster travel speeds up to 10.5 mph.

The compact track loader comes standard with 18-inch wide tracks and Posi-Track undercarriage technology with multiple levels of suspension that distributes the machine’s 8,972-lb. operating weight down to only 3.5 psi of ground pressure. The low ground pressure prevents damage to the ground below and provides extended track life.

For ride comfort and traction, the undercarriage is suspended from the chassis of the machine by torsion axles. The design allows the bogie wheels on the PT-75 to flex, creating a smooth ride and with minimal vibration and shock. It is also available with optional 20-inch tracks for increased versatility year-round.

The new PT-75 loader is designed with front-mounted, quick-connect hydraulic fittings and an electronic connector for control of attachments, enabling it to use industry-standard attachments. Additionally, it is equipped with a comfortable operator station and pilot-operated joystick controls to reduce operation fatigue and increase production.

All Terex compact track loaders, including the new PT-75 model, utilize a proprietary all-rubber track with steel embedded tracks mounted on an existing skid steer chassis. It enables Terex compact track loaders to produce greater efficiencies in operation and speed because of the lighter weight, according to the company.

TL120 Compact Wheel Loader

Terex

The Terex TL120 compact wheel loader comes with a Tier 4 interim 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine with intercooler, a new Terex Smart Control operating system, a quieter cab offering a better view to the ground for the operator, and a new cooling system.

The wheel loader boasts 101 hp and a Tier 4i Deutz engine that provides the 16,653-lb operating weight TL120 with approximately 16% more power and 90% lower exhaust emissions than its predecessor.

Terex added a new operating concept that makes it easier for the operator to configure the machine precisely to an application. Operation of the Terex Smart Control is similar to menu guides on smart phones. Within the cab, a new dashboard display provides a better at-a-glance of machine operation information, while the multi-function joystick comes with an electro-proportional control circuit and a slow/fast key for precise handling. The keypad has extra-large keys, and all the fuses and relays are now mounted inside the cab for additional protection.

Noise levels in the two-door cab have been cut from 76dB(A) to 71dB(A). The lock switch for the Quick-Attach system is mounted by the steering column, and the operator has a clear view of the attachment coupling process.

A new Tier 4i engine cooling system uses a hydraulically operated and temperature-controlled fan that starts automatically when required to help reduce fuel consumption. Using parasitic reduction, the hydraulically driven fan can be adjusted down to compensate for cool climates. A reverse function is available for machines working in dusty environments to push debris from the radiator, in turn reducing service and associated downtime. The combination of the new cooling package and the revised rear hood cuts exterior noise levels from 102dB(A) to 99dB(A) — making the Tier 4i TL120 ideal for use in urban areas or sites with strict decibel-level requirements.

Other changes include a three-part counterweight which provides easier service access to the engine, the battery isolator is now adjacent to the cab, and beneath the redesigned engine hood are new jump start terminals. A revised steering system reduces the effort needed to turn the wheel while retaining its 15-ft, 4-in turning radius.

Other features carried over from the previous model are the 1.57 yd3 to 2.35 yd3 bucket capacity, parallel kinematics, self-locking differentials, and an oscillating rear axle.

Hydrostatic Site Dumpers

Terex

Designed with narrower dimensions and a tighter turning radius, the new Terex TA2H, TA2SH, TA3H and TA3SH site dumpers have enhanced maneuverability to work efficiently in tight places. Terex site dumpers are perfectly matched to the bucket capacity of a mini excavator and are ideally suited for congested job sites.

The new hydrostatic transmissions on these Terex dumpers drive through a new drop box and axles, providing smooth, clutch-less operation. Additionally, operators can now select the dumpers' directional drive through the steering column-mounted lever for ease of use.

TA2SH                4,410 lb (2,000 kg) capacity        swivel tip - hydrostatic transmission
TA3H                      6,610 lb (3,000 kg) capacity   forward tip - hydrostatic transmission
TA3H                       6,610 lb (3,000 kg) capacity  forward tip - hydrostatic transmission
TA3SH                     6,610 lb (3,000 kg) capacity   swivel tip - hydrostatic transmission

The new TA2H and TA2SH both use a proven drivetrain combined with a 32.6-hp EPA interim Tier 4-compliant Kubota water-cooled diesel engine and boast a 1. 57 yd³ heaped skip capacity.

The TA3H and TA3SH models are equipped with a 43.2-hp water-cooled diesel engine. The TA3H boasts a 2.55 yd3 heaped skip capacity, and the TA3SH claims a 2.45 yd3 heaped skip capacity.

Designed with the operator in mind, Terex hydrostatic dumpers come standard with a gas strut-operated folding ROPS frame for simple operation and a plastic leg guard to protect drivers from jobsite debris. All Terex dumpers incorporate easy access to the operator's position from either side of the unit. Also, Terex dumpers are designed to give operators easy access to the engine compartment.

These hydrostatic dumper models are additions to the existing line of Terex manual transmission dumpers.
